• 1. Are you currently accepting new clients?

Yes, I am currently accepting new clients. I aim to accommodate new client appointments within a week based on availability.

    2. I am nervous, what should I expect during our first session?

It is completely normal to be nervous. You and I will spend your first session(s) getting to know each other. The goal is to gather information and begin to understand more about you. I will ask initial questions about various aspects of your life. We will review necessary consents, policy, and I help orient my clients expectations for care and the counseling experience. I offer a warm and supportive space.

    4. Do you accept insurance? Can I seek reimbursement through my PPO/out-of-network benefits?

    Out-of- Network Billing/PPO

I do not accept any insurance, but I do accept PPO plans/out-of-network benefits. If you have a PPO, you have out of network benefits! Please contact me if you would like to learn more about how you can access your out-of-network benefits to seek partial reimbursement for your care. I recommend you contact the number on the back of your insurance card to verify if your health plan offers out-of-network coverage and the details of these benefits ahead of time.

    5. What forms of payment are accepted?

I accept all major credit/debit cards for payment including cards associated with Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You may utilize out of network benefits with your PPO to seek possible reimbursement. Payment will be charged the day of service.

    3. What is your service fee per session?

$140 per 55 minute counseling session.

    6. What is your cancellation policy?

To ensure I can properly accommodate clients requesting my services, I ask that you please provide at least 24-hour advance notice for cancelling appointments. If you do not provide proper notice, you will be charged a $75 no-show/late cancellation fee.

    7. How frequent do clients attend therapy?

The frequency and length of treatment will vary based on your individual needs, availability, goals you have set for yourself, and progress. I typically see my clients once weekly, biweekly, or twice monthly at a minimum.

    8. What should i expect with telehealth/online counseling?

I utilize a HIPAA secure and user friendly platform to facilitate online counseling sessions. This allows us to work together via live video conferencing and can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone. My clients appreciate the efficiency of the user experience and time saved. From a treatment perspective, research continues to show that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy from the client perspective and helps to reduce barriers to access and care.
